For all the light-hearted stuff he did, he was also an excellent actor in serious roles (Deliverance).

I don't know how many times I watched Smokie and the bandit movie as a kid.
That and the Cannonball Run movies, great times. I have them on DVD now, i think I'll try and find some time to sit down and watch again. |
