OCD kicking in... But you would have thought they would have photoshopped out the tyre marks and stains on the ground before publishing those photos.
P.S. - And no I don't think they add character or toughness to the car or images. |

I would so daily that!
Doubt we'll officially see it down under though. If we do, expect a $200k sticker.

Apparantly its to do with the strict ADR's that are put on car distributors, importers and manufacturers. One of the problems were the exhaust noise levels, much louder than the active exhausts of the MY18+ GT's we get. So if we do eventually see them in Oz, expect a numbed down version. While Motorsport modification companies like Herrod can get around the ADR's, it is not the same and as easy as a manufacturer like Ford to get away with the same, that was according to the interview responses from FOA. |

Ford are keeping the final power figure very close to their chest. They obviously have something they want to out do, and are waiting to the very last minute so they don't get gazumped before release.

Can't wait to see one in NZ, Demons are going for 250k, Redeyes just under 200k so should be somewhere around there. GT350 are around 100k which is pretty tempting.

That's sensible pricing for the 350 and there would be a market in this part of the world at that price point

I think Ford stops anyone importing the current Mustangs in LHD and converting it for sale,
that also includes GT350 and this GT500 Maybe this is something that FPV could look at with Ford supplying the RHD bits from the factory... |

New import laws allow imports under certain circumstances.
If ford won't bring them in, then you can. |

This is true, however one of the big criteria is limited build numbers. I am not sure if the GT500 is a limited build.

At least we can actually buy Mustang here at all . Ford has many faults but they have at least not totally disregarded the RHD fans around the world unlike other builders . Other than the Ford GT of course . Just imagine though if the 500 or 350 was ever configured RHD for this country. They'd have no trouble selling them that's for sure even at a premium sticker price . |

found this too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBCCSqRuX3s The engine upgrade is interesting ..Not especially thrilled to find out there's no manual though.. If I ever buy any Mustang I'll want the manual one I think . Last edited by roddy1960; 16-01-2019 at 08:58 AM. |

I agree. Back in early December old mate across the road bought a new AMG C63. I live in a cul de sac and at our Christmas street drinks his C63 was parked on his driveway and my Mustang on mine. A few young families with kids there and the kids wanted to take a look at the Mustang close up. The Merc , at a guess worth probably 3x as much, didn't even get a mention

I don't know why they keep rejecting RHD Shelbys. Mustang has proven it's desirability in RHD, Bullitt was a near instant sellout, and HSV never had any issue selling 100k+ limited editions. There is a market here.
Maybe it's just not big enough to return the extra cost of investment required to make a RHD version? |

IF I was rich , if it was allowed and if you could actually use it in LHD the one I'd buy would be the GT 350. Highly , highly unlikely . |
