It could be dependent on the program/site that you're using.

I use Postimage which gives you a choice of full size pic or thumbnail.

A thumbnail is normally a preview of the photo, so you click on it to view it.

What exactly do you want to do?

If you have the photo in your Postimg, Flickr or whatever account, you can right-click on it to copy the image location. Then when you're posting here, you click on the yellow icon up above where you're typing, and paste your link into the popup box that appears.

Otherwise, you can use the option.

I've looked at your Project thread, and the images aren't showing up. Using Microsoft to share pictures doesn't seem to work, it might be a privacy thing or something. As Gasolane suggested, create an account at http://postimage.org, and link the photos from there.

This works for many forums that I'm a member of, where members have problems posting photos... after all, we're all just people doing stuff that has nothing to do with IT!

I've modified the first post in your Project Thread, and if you store your photos on Ford Forums, the way I've changed it is how to show your photos. If you press Quote this Post, you'll see the nerdy stuff that has to be there.

If your uploading to ford forums then it's a convoluted manual process of removing the thumb tags from the link, that's why I don't post pics because I keep forgetting exactly what has to be done.
Only forum I've ever struck like that and it goes hand in hand with posts displaying newest first as default. Ford forums is "special".

Use Postimage it's dead simple https://postimages.org/

And I guess you did know that you can change how posts display in the Thread Display Mode.

You don't need to get rid of it, we can fix it with either pictures loaded onto AFF, or another photo hosting site. I've fixed the first post in your thread, but can't access your following posts, as I'm asked for a password.

I can do that... or, I can change the photo links to wherever you move the photos to.

Third party hosting only works until it doesn't work anymore, I thought the last debacle with that mob who started slamming people would have been a lesson.
I did find that thread display mode which was well hidden but I bet a lot of people simply put up with reading backwards.
