Could be - that would do a better job and last longer.

depends on the cost compare to getting new wheels, they Tyres would have to come for anyway for that

I've used Tin God Solutions. They PC'd my KG wheels and over painted in a highlight. They are more of an old aircooled specialist but may be able to suggest someone else if they can't help themslevs

I drove past a place called Black Ace Powdercoating in Bayswater just before new years. I asked how much it was to powder coat the wheels I had the time, which were territory 18s. The wheels were still in excellent condition, so the guy said $50 each as he didn't need to do much to prep it.

There is not a lot of info on that business, but they had a lot of stuff being powder coated in the factory at the time, so I'm assuming they have some business. You could call them and ask about yours.

Cheers sounds like a bargain, just called and he confirmed the price.

Ill need to remove the tyres wheel weights etc.
he said for the other ones that are flaking Id need to get them sandblasted first which makes sense

It did seem like a bargain and a half. I would have followed through if I didn't change my wheels. Keep us in the loop on the quality of the work. If its decent I may get some other stuff done there.

Just had some wheels painted two pack silver.
Was going to get them powder coated but some forums are suggesting it can soften the properties of the aluminium and change the strength of the wheel.
Panel shop did mine.

I see a few comments on that, but no one with actual wheel damage, but still worth checking so Ill ask what temperature his system goes to. I believe some are not that high
