Default wiring diagram

hey guys i know this isn't a ford, but the maverick should be the same? i am about to go help a mate install a new head unit is his 93 patrol and am having trouble finding wiring diagrams, and i don't really wanna hack into all the wires in case i ruin something. can anybody help me out here? thanks in advance.

just use a test light, head units are fairly simple to fit, speakers are normally paired in colours (blue and blue with black stripe) constant power, check with ignition off, ignition check with ignition on, earth, if unsure run a new one. thats about it.
