How much is an ignition module (retail) on a w126 560 and how long do they take to replace?
Cos I might be buying one next week but one plauged example in my mechanics workshop scared a $hit outa me.

The wreckers I go to are great. If I walk in alone, with my own tools, and rip apart a few cars by myself I get everything for half of what they'd charge a male for the same thing!!

Of course the guy waiting behind me to pay for the exact same part didn't like it when he got charged double what I did, when he went to complain the bloke behind the counter told him that there wasn't anything special about him picking bits off cars, but the fact I came in by myself, with tools, and got exactly what I wanted was worth some serious respect. :hihi:

Shes not too young for me. I don't buy site unseen though, so get some pics up.

BTW as mentioned in another thread, my 15 year old sister is for sale. free shipment anywhere inside the galaxy. She has 5 of her (hot) friends here tonight... perhaps a buy one get one free offer is in order...

I'll keep the other 4... Product familiarisation purposes and all that! :

well, quality with benzes? hmm with us recalling heaps of cars with about 6 hours work on each, it speaks for itself. lol nah they arent that bad quality. quite good actually.
electrical, well there is a lot of electronics on them but they diagnose themselves mainly.
parts is completly different. at $9500 for a control module that makes a convertible roof go up and down, prices speak for themselves (OVERPRICED!!!)
but you can afford all this stuff when its nothing to pay around $1000 for a service lol.
pics of sis to come and yes ssj japee, i will trade sisters. i want photos first lol

No they don't! I'm only in first year training to be a Auto Sparky and the problems you get never diagnose themself.

I have a Q, why the hell does my car (2002 C200K) keep giving me the ESP and BAS warning sometimes but not others? Is it a glitch in the software or has the ESP really choked??

cool this is an easy one. it sounds like it needs the esp wiring field fix. some wires that go to the esp control module need replacing. take it to a benz dealer and they will fix it. while its there, they might do the battery recall. new battery for free

In a w126 560, can you take the g/box out without removing the engine (drop it underneath)?
I know you can with the diesel ones but not too sure with the big 8s.
