Default Ford Wreckers in Sydney

Can people post up who they use or know of ?

I'm after some stock wheels and tyres and a few other bits and pieces for my Falcon.

Depending on where abouts in Sydney you are, try Fordham spares at Tempe or Macarther partsplus at Campbelltown. :voldar02:

Give George a ring at Hornsby Wreckers (02 9481 0602). If he doesnt, he will probably be able to point you in the right direction. have you tried pick n payless?

Pick N Payless, but only if your on the western / north western side of sydney.
it's not the best for new cars but.
Older than say 4 years and older, it's great.

hey mate your after some WSID drag strip wheels eh!!

I can lend you my spare ( trying to lose the weight anyway) its a 225/50ZR16 and only really good for abusing on the strip. Now if you can organise other one thats cheaper than buying them.

Yeah the difficulty I have had trying to source second hand AU/BA rims on the cheap....I would have thought it would have been easier.

Looks like I'm just gonna buy a spare (new) set of rims and try and get away with second hand rubber. I may end up just getting the lot (inc tyres) from a tyre joint new. I'll see what happens.

I've only got til this w/e coming and I don't have a lot of time off this week so it'll be a rush.

There is a wreaker in Padstow. Pretty shonky dealing as well, wouldn't recommend.

As far as the wheels were concerned they said "no".

I ended up going to Beaurepaires for the rims/tyres as they're like a 2min walk away.

Maybe we should have a sticky thread somewhere with Wreckers/Parts Places that are recommended ?
