wasn't sure where to post this but here go's
I have a 2.0 litre TF cortina being restored it has a C3 Auto behind it which unfortunately has to stay there as I only have an Auto licence. What I would like to know is if anyone has any idea on what the horsepower limits of a C3 are I have been told that they are only good for around 150 - 180HP. I am considering throwing a Toyota Supercharger at this using a blow by system with a Weber carb off a 250 Xflow which surprisingly doesn't require an adapter plate to mount up to the Pinto. The Carby is going on regardless as the 32/36 is just about Fudged. Any Information on the C3 Auto would be a great help as I am Aiming for approx 150-160 HP once the car is Complete. So far Mods include Custom Made King Springs 1 3/4 inch lowered Custom made to handle a V8 if I ever decide to put one in. Monroe GT Shocks All Round. Mods To Come Custom Sway Bars Hurricane Headers + 2 1/2 inch Straight thru with Stainless Steel 3"Cannon Custom Paint Job Debadgeing SLR 5000 Style Graphics Sporting Cortina On Doors Removal Of Engine Driven Fan Replace with large Thermo. Finish welding up minor Rust spots. |
