Talking The 1982 Falcon you didn't get...

Unless you live in Argentina, be glad Ford were offering the XE...

The other 1982 Falcon

Seems to be what you get if you cross an XM with a Cortina parts bin! With an opening pic like that, I hope it's at least got Oz XP spec front suspension! :nutsycuck

As if the broken translation isn't funny enough;

Quote:
In this his sixth restayling when to stay updated as much changes great part of its components in its outside as in its interior, with these changes totally acquires a renewed aspect but without leaving its main lines. The greater advantage is this than it had the Falcon in his 30 years of production and six restayling, in which it knew to stay effective offering to comfort and its incomparable value of reventa.

It looks like a cross between an XK-XP Falcon and one of the last Cortinas

Holy Crap! Look at the differences between some of the models. Talk about changing shape slower and slower. 82-91 is pretty much the same car.

In later years there was a Ghia version. (Check out the link Falcon Freak put up. The back of the 91' is badged as a Falcon Ghia). There wasn't an ESP but there was a sporty Sprint version. I've done a bit of research on these cars. They also came as wagons and utes! I must say though, comparing that 91' Falcon Ghia with my 90' Fairmont Ghia, I certainly know which one is a nicer looking car.

Imagine getting hold of one, putting on the XP front and rear, then go around trying to convince people it's an 82 Falcon.

I was in Argentina 4 years ago, and those old Falcons were EVERYWHERE. They were Pimped, customised as well as the allround s itbox version.

I had the second fastest cab ride in my life in Buenos Aires. The fastest of course was in Rio in Brazil. They just have to do everything better and fastest than the Argentineans.
