Good afternoon
The first series of brochure scans have been uploaded covering the years from 1966 to 1988 (XR to XF Falcon). Please be aware that most of these images are large files - typically 300k+ and their use on dial-up is not recommended. The remaining series will be uploaded over the next few days. Please treat this resource as a tool for your own benefit. They are not viewable by unregistered or pending confirmation people and should not be linked to outside this forum. http://www.fordforums.com.au/photos/...ry.php?cat=501 Regards Russ Last edited by russellw; 23-07-2005 at 05:41 PM. |

NOTE
As the brochure gallery is blocked to general posting could you please forward scans (preferably at 100DPI) to me addressed to admin@fordforums.com.au and I will post them in the appropriate section. Those supplying scans will (naturally) be credited as the source. Regards Russ |

Russ if your interested my friend has a quite large box of media he has collected up over the years working at broady. Things like the factory newsletters various brochures, motorsport newsletters etc. If your interested in any of it let me know. I could get a loan of it. I'd probably just send it to you and let you work your magic (as long as you promise to return it :P)

Hi mate
It will all help - I'll be happy to have at least one of everything - Ford often produce multiple brochures across a model lifespan. Froim my view I am happy to have each model covered with a detailed brochure (not all are at present) and only count significant mid model changes. Have a look through the EF/EL models - you'll see the same pictures (and even the same pages) used between models with one or two words changed (like Falcon to Fairmont) but the EF2 is enough different to the EF1 to justify its' own scan. Cheers Russ Quote:

I can't believe the effort that's going into this place. Hopefully everyone will be grateful for everything you're doing. ;)

Apart from the remaining A3 sized ones I still have to scan (DC & DF LTD + all the AU range) everything else I have is up now.
Wulos has kindly sent me some oddities I'm missing and I had omitted the commercial ranges along the way of which I have a few odd ones that will be scanned in due course. Thanks again to Jeff and Tony for getting the gallery software running and thanks to Mustek for making reasonably cheap (by A3 standards anyway) A3 scanners because stitching the scans together was going to be a pain in the you know what. The rest will probably appear over the next few days if time and patience permit. Cheers Russ |

Russ,
I have found the article I did on my fathers racing career on my website .... I thought it was lost forever when I had the fatal computer crash of 2004 :S ..... I know its not really Ford related but if you would like I can send you a copy of it in .pdf format as it may be a bit of light reading for those who are enthused by motorsport ..... Let me know if you would like it |

I've sent an email to this ebay store, who has a lot of Car Brochures for sale. I'm asking for some AU3 Falcon ones, but if anyone is interested he might be able to get a particular model for you.

A top effort to Russ and the fordforums.com.au team. I'll be on the net for hours tonight reading up on these broshures. This site simply rocks for us Falcon based owners.
Interesting fact to note the AU is the most popular selling model falcon only 2nd to the XF.

I know they are not as popular or important to you, but I'll have the Euro Ford ones sent to you soon, for those I have.
All looks good so far! Tim |
