I just wanted to give some light on installing leds instead of globes, i have done this mod with so many diff coloured leds. bright blue comes out blue but on au2 xr dash makes needles and red warning areas come out black which doesnt look all that good. The ones i have found have been the best are actually using a bright pink led from jaycar which come out purple and still allows the red to come through. on my setup i have the oil, temp, fuel, volts in the purple, red and the tacho and speedo still white, red which actually looks really neat at night makes it look more sporty. Just thought i would explain my findings.
