Not sure if this is the right area, but wanted to say G'day. I am about to become a Fairmont owner (AUIII 2002 I think) its my folks car but they just bought a 4WD to tow behind the winebago so I get this little beauty for $10,000 absolute bargain
 .Time to get rid of the Corolla Sportivo, Great car but damn those loan repayments ;). I will be new to the whole RWD idea too, I have only ever owned 4 Cyl FWD cars but am looking forward to having something with a lot more torque and a bit more of a relaxing car to drive. I'm also knew to the whole auto tranny thing too but im sure it will all feel normal soon enough . |

welcome, i tell you going the other way is harder .. coming from a torque6 to little 4cyl is just plain painfull, at least the handbreak had its regular workout with me ;) have fun here

.There will be no modding on this one. The reason I am selling the 2 year old Corolla Sportivo and buying a 3 year old fairmont is because I am saving to get married and the $800 a month for the corolla is too restrictive .I am really looking forward to having a car that has some power and grunt without needing to mod it .After we are married and moved to QLD we will look at getting an old old old falcon that I can do up . Wouldn't mind working an old XA Coupe or even an XM, classic design .
