Default Pod Off - No Fun

Hey Peeps,

Thought seeing that the Fiesta forums have been dead as lateley that i'd just post up anything to try and salvage some of the passion that used to pump through here lol jk

AAnyways, My car is ready for its 30K service (I hate it, I want to turn it back, and don't say anything becasue I'm sensitive about it). Anyways so for the service I just took off the pod and put on the engine cover again so basically theres no more snorty grunting Baaarp farty growl coming from under the bonnet anymore.

And its really really boring. I can't wait to have it all back on again. Now I want an exhaust too. I'm loving this car. I don't give a toss how girly, or slow, or whatever it is, its the best car I've ever had, and one that will stand out in my memory more than my old falcons that I spent huge on (they were both unreal).

For a car that I just wanted as a A to B type of thing, it's weird innit?

I love my Mk6 Fez.

I was in the same situation when my 15000 was up, I took the pod off and put the stock stuff back on and it definitley didnt feel right (lucky exhaust was on tho, it compensated for a little).

Pod and no exhaust or Exhaust and no pod is still awesome, but... Pod and Exhaust is pure heaven.

The fez never put me in a dull mood and i always have a smile on my face when i see it on the street and im walking to it, or when i exit it.

Default Pod off - no fun

Danny i know exactly what your talking about !

i tried borrowed a mates k&n pod filter and the car sounded unreal!!

i didnt think it would make too much of a difference.
but i got a great induction roar and the engine was actually more torquey than with the airbox.
i took it off :( now i need apollo to turn my frown upside down!
So hurry up and get your pod back on!

ps. how much did the 30 thousand service cost?

Mitch, the 30 grand service is about 120 - 150 from Ultra tune. I refuse to take it to ford becasue they want 280 for the same service.
