Default Another Lion Bites The Dust

Another thread in the line of Dead Holdens. For those of you at the BBQ yesterday this accident happened just over the back fence. Weather was fine and sunny, so really no excuse for this to happen, the Holden driver was from QLD but used to live locally so knows the road. As far as I can work out he was turning left onto Commercial Rd, (well thats what he said) from Nashwaulk Cres which is controlled by a Give Way, Commerical Road is divided by a medium strip at this point, so I guess if he was trying to turn left then he was turning onto the wrong side of the medium into oncomming traffic. Doing this he has hit a Challenger towing a trailer loaded with bark comming from his left on Commerical Road, This has spun the Holden 180 degrees so it is facing the way it came from, and forced the Challenger off of the road to its left, the trailer hitting a light pole on the way and bringing it down. :MrT_anim: Never a cop when you need one, took them 30 minutes to arrive, with the road blocked................ Only minor injuries really, Broken arm, scratches, whiplash etc

Good to hear that the injuries were relativly minor.
That Wagon isn't a Forrester, Mitsu Pajero or Holder Jackeroo?? Hard to tell with the tailgate up.

Accidents Happen! Hope the flamage doesn't take over and another thread is wiped. Yeah sure, Wishful thinking!

Looks like a nice wide street with pretty good visability, so seems like someone committed a major stuff up.

Once again, I don't understand why some of you people get your thrills by posting up and discussing the misfortunes of some poor person. I'd also be willing to bet that if there wasn't a Holden involved in the accident it would never even be posted here. Ford drivers have accidents too you know.

I'm glad to hear though that everyone got out of it ok with only minor injuries.

Well if you had an accident would you like somebody posting pics of it up on a public forum without your knowledge and commenting on it and laughing? I know I wouldn't.

I've seen at least 2 threads with smashed up fords. I started a thread once and I think it was the ford forums site about my mate cleaning up a rood in his BA pursuit. There was anotherone posted here about an AU Pursuit which caught fire. So they do get posted from time to time. But we are more sympathetic to the plight of ford drivers than the stupidity of holden drivers

Once again, I don't understand why you are even posting? I'd also be willing to bet that if there wasn't a Holden involved in the accident you probably wouldnt post at all and if you did it would be just another wasted, pointless winge. Seriously, I'm yet to see you contribute anything worthwhile to this forum at all.

geez.... that commo is pretty bent. Its amazing how accidents happen in perfect conditions, well its not an accident if its driver error.

HAHA that "murphy" is awesome.

For the Holden drivers then, let's make things fair. This is just as bad as when your sister used to have a birthday and your grandma gave you presents too just to keep you happy...

If we must have a crashed falcon to appease the Commodore gang...

Yesterday there were 2 crashes involving Fords on the same stretch of road, didn't have the camera with me, would have posted it up anyway. Did not see either happen but from the damage/position of the cars i'd say 90% chance the Ford wasn't at fault....
