Gonna fall down? Doesn't have to be up first?

I spose if you look on the bright side, with all the extra people around you're less likely to be stabbed.

Thats an old urban myth, well I'm guessing your refering to someone purposefully leaving a syringe with the intent to infect another person.

Just like any major event Grand Prix,V8s street circuit,Olympic games it will be a no expense spared show and all will run as smooth as clockwork. Then the day after it will be the same old sh@t.

Does Connex own all of the trainlines? The east side get's pretty decent trains and the Pakenham line gets crud ones.

It will run like clockwork for the Games and then fall back to its usual ways. Well thats what happened here in Sydney for the Olympics.

I live between the Alamein and Glen Waverley lines, both supposedly pretty good ones.

But lately trains have been cancelled in peak hour, ensuring trains are full when they do eventually arrive, and thus trains end up running about 15min late.

If the government is going to such lengths to keep cars out of the city (increase carparking taxes etc), they should bloody provide an reasonable alternative!

/rant.
