Hello
Have had a problem with my samsung mobile phone over the past 2 weeks. It wont recieve sms's and phone calls unless I pull the battery out and put it back in every 3 hours. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem? I went to Telstra and the guy said it was because Telstra had made changes to the network and it had affected all Samsung phones. He told me to leave it for a while and that Telstra was working on it. As my phone has only 2 weeks left of the warrenty I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or is the guy just stalling until my warrenty runs out. Thankx |

Sounds suspiciously like a palm off to me.
Why would it work after a reset? (battery in and out) 2 weeks and you could be in trouble!

stealth00,
You have been screwed over, that is the biggest crock of ИИИИ i have ever seen. Seeing as i'm a trainee manager and my parents own a telstra shop i will tell you now that the changes to the network hasnt affected any of the mobiles. Take your phone back in to the store with your proof of purchase and tell them to send it away for repair. If that still doesnt work PM me your adress and i will work out another store that is close by that will send your phone away before warranty runs out! Mk II |

I'm with Telstra and own a Samsung SGH-E310, one of those flip one's. No problems at all. I suggets you take it back and ask for a loaner for the day, just to show them it's your phone and not the network.

I had to have the battery replaced on mine ONE day after I got the phone becuse it lasted for a mere 12 hours (not even a day) Absolute shocker, but they replaced the battery and all was OK. It's a Samsung D600.
