In a perfect world, I could possibly even get away with posting this in the Pub, but I figure it's probably best to leave it here rather than anyone else.
I won't say much, other than I was searching for some old school games (just for something different) and came across this. There's a short description at the bottom, that'll explain moreso. http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/game/186

just been doing a bit of reading on it... seems it's open source, and very much under development currently....
in one of the forums, they are saying that maybe there will be an aussie version of it, with Mad max's interceptor as one of the 'kings'

downloaded the street rods 3 game and it is very ford biased, 351 into a gm wtf, and can only drag race that not much fun either, but definetly a step above the original for detail.

OMG! Street Rods, we used to play this game all the time in high school, so many memories. It was the only game we could get to work on the computers as it could fit onto a disk.

Hehe these games seem light years away from stuff I'm driving virtually these days. For example, V8 Supercars series or more recently GT Legends are quantum leaps forward. However, I do have a fondness for the older games, they bring back a lot of memories. Men were men and games were rudimentary back then. None of this 3d accelerated, 5.1 digital audio, multiplayer nonsense! : :
