a friend has an EA spac or something and is it possible to get an AU motor and unbolt the manifolds and other crap off the EA motor then drop the AU motor in and bold everything back on..??? ..im thinking at least may have to keep the AU intake manifold and maybe use the AU airbox.... comparing the 2 side by side it looks almost the same that is everything around the motor..
any help or anyone who knows thanks |

ea manifold will go on. need to grind sump to clear k frame. need to either keep the serpentine belt (meaning run the AU accessories - alternator, power steering pump, air con compressor) or convert it to ribbed belts (more grinding aparently...SPHELL has done this in the past on his old EA)
the reason you probably got no replies is because you posted it in the AU section...... |

easier to do an el motor ,there are alot of small things that make the au convert a pain and fiddly
for not much more gain than earlier motors |
