Black is almost always ground. Russellw posted the wiring diagrams for AUs, so a quick checks confirms that. The positive wire looks to be a brown wire though, not orange?

Xr6-vct-2000,
wish I had the day to finalise the driving lights on my new bar. Would you like to shoot over to adelaide and do them for me. I was lucky enough to sort wiring for indicators etc last night, but tonight I have to fit the bar properly in the rain. I'll be delaying any more climbing around doing lights until the rain stops. Or I'll wait till the spotties are installed and do them all at once |

Oh , as this is the first time i have had to disconnect the battery on my car , i didnt know what to expect when i reconected it , i dont think i have to bother with the learn mode again do i ? ( was only disconnected for about 5 minutes max ! ) , anyway - when i turned the ignition on the whole lcd display lit up for a few seconds then put like a kind of weird symbol up , i turned the car over then it all went back to normal , is ok again now , i thought i had screwed it up for a few mins ! ..lol
