across the back window was a sticker that looked like "theheaven.com.au" but i cant find a site for it if anyone can point me in the direction of the owner of this or the site in question it would be much appreciated. i will put up photos once i can get them off my phone |

I know I'm way off topic here, but THE point being, As rough as the area, as tough as the times, We STILL had respect for people, AND their property, AND the law! I am NOT going to get on my soapbox over this. & sorry if any offence taken. |

the police might not even know its there unless it was reported by the rangers that manage the park it was pretty badly chopped up though.. so most of the usual ways of ID'ing the car would be gone as in all i could find were boy shell pieces... no mechanicals at all unless its been Datadotted?? as to no one in macquarie fields having one.... you should see down there... BA's. HSV's imports.... drug dealers have to live somewhere you know |

However there are a number of contradictory statements in this thread so it may all even be a load of crap. Hope not though.

Now the big problem is that the cops were sitting on the car for over a week, it was being used as a runner. Why weren't they knocked off before hand. I think theres a bit more to it and it wont get released. But i am in nowway defending these tools. |

I don't want to see the pics. I reckon it would be heart-breaking to see a BA in the condition described.

Ok, not doubting you or anything, but if there was so little of it left, how do you know it was a Phantom BA Ute?
If it was in a scrap yard chances are NPWS and the Police already know about it anyway.

no its not a bullshit story i know i;m only a new member on here but at least some of you should recognise me from various other car forums in Oz
i'll get the pics up when i can but since my main computer is dead as a doornail at the moment thats proving difficult the car is in a section of the Scheyville National Park at Windsor from what i can figure the rangers there have dragged it out of the bush and dumped it with the burnt out lancer type car and other metal scrap awaiting disposal i'm sure some of the members here live out that way... you go get the pics and prove me right/wrong considering i have 2 mates that both have Phantom Xr;s which i travel in regularly i recognised the colour as soon as i saw it, and the shapes/pieces left cant be anything other than a ute... you do the math |

Ok, fair enough, i wasnt meaning to suggest youre making it up, probably not the best choice of words. Just that one minute you were saying it was in the bush and next you were saying it was in a holding yard type area.

Who gives a rat's a** about pic's anyway. The car was stolen, the car was stripped, the car was dumped. Bad luck. Get over it.

i think since you have come across the BA it is YOUR duty to inform the police about it. they may or may not know, that isnt the point. infact i think there are laws about things like this, where if you find something that is suspect or stolen you have the obligation to contact the police about it.
