MTAQ "Cannonball Day" anyone going

MTAQ apparently decided that no Clubs would be invited this year

So if anyone is going it would only be to watch unless they are an MTAQ member

I heard that the only club not allowed to go was the HSV Club of Qld all other clubs were welcome.

The word given to the club by the MTAQ committee, was they were unable to invite the XR Club along to this years event due to last years large total numbers. Nothing against our club, just one of those things. It's an event put on by the MTAQ, for it's members and their families, their members staff and the members invited guests. Again a big bummer for our club, however understandable, especially if you were there last year and saw first hand the numbers of competitors they had to run through.

On the plus side, if you get you get your car mechanicals/servicing/mods/etc regularly looked after by the Bob Romano Performance Motors team, as they are a MTAQ member, you can ask if they have any available spots left on their quota, to join in on the day.
