97?? AU's first started in August 1998.
Anyhow, you will need to first choose how low you want it. Something like Kings Springs Super low will be a little under XR6/XR8 height, Super Super low about 30mm lower again but can also lead to insurance issues. Springs are about $140 a pair so under $300 for the set. Then you need a camber kit ($300) so your tyres dont chew up the insides and probably new shocks all round ($600). Then add cost of fitting if you dont know how to do it yourself. If unsure I can highly recommend the AU forums sponsers G&D Performance Tuning, they are in Cranbourne and will do a quality job for you.

Super lows are a two inch drop right? Would you suggest only getting a 2 inch drop in both the front and rear.. or get a three inch drop in the rear?
