What other mods have you done? What is the goal? What sort of budget are you on? Anyhow, if you are interested and have these answers try calling G&D (aufalcon.com sponser and AFF sponser) and having a chat to Matt or Glenn, they will certainly be of help (and dont forget to mention aufalcon for your 5% discount on all parts and labour)

Can also have a chat to Joe at Crescent Motors .... has done many a cam for the AU I6 engine (and previous models ... with decent results).
I guess it depends who is closest to you at the time. AFAIK his current prices are $600 installed for a "Stage 2" cam ... similar output to JMM DEV 4 cam ... this also includes dialling in and testing on dyno as well ... 1/2 day turn around ... pretty decent results too.

I have plenty of time for Joe but powerwise I remeber a FFdyno day at Autotech where I ran 139 rwkw and a CMS stg 2 manual ran 136rwkw. It was good but not that good. |

But for the price and a basic install ... it's a fairly decent price ... it's really his entry level cam anyway. Power levels read different on all sorts of vehicles. I know for a fact just the cam on it's own will give better power increase ... and also a fatter torque curve. It comes down to where the power is being made ... and where the cam is dialled into as well.
Yes you will need to speak to Joe in regards to what sort of power you are chasing ... as there is more that you can do to use the power. I guess it all comes down to how wish to spend. But for a basic package for a decent increase over standard ... I see it as good value for money. I will be looking at an upgraded cam soon to beef up the low-end side of things ... I am after torque more than a kW figure ... as I don't see the need to rev the crap out of a vehicle that really wasn't built for top-end power/revving.
