Default track results after fitting 3.9's

finaly got out to willowbank tonight and had a run after fittin 3.89 diff gears . not quite the results i was after but here they are .i had 3 runs .
60ty..... ET......mph
2.027....14.937..92.8
2.045....14.804..93.44 this was with the clutch slipping every gear change
1.990....14.802..93.09

i was hoping for mid 14's but it wasn't to be ,if i had a couple more runs i prolly could have squeezed a 14.6.the car should be running a lot better times .i had it dynoed at rdp's a month ago and it made 204.6 hp @ the wheels.i have a suspision that the clutch isn't up to it ,who knows.
catch yas ,jake

The cars were coming off the rollers. It wasn't exactly hot either...

Honestly 200hp and 93mph sound about right to me. This should be 14.8 qtr all right.

The guys I have seen running 14.4's are getting 220rwhp odd.

I dunno, I would have expected more like 94+ mph with 200-odd rwhp. Not 93.0's.

A slipping clutch could certainly explain that, and wouldn't be the sort of thing that would necessarily show up on a dyno run.

Focusing on the positives, that last 60' was awesome. I'd kill for a 60' that good in my ute...well done

OED ,before the diff gears the car was averaging 14.7's .i have compared the slips to some from when i ran with the 3.45's and there almost identical ,330 ,660 ,and 1000 footers all with in a fleas pube of each other.strange indeed i thought i might pick up a couple of tenths atleast.

STAV, thanks mate hopefuly i'l get there in the end.

XR8UTE,thanks mate getting it off the line the is easy part for me then comes that dreaded 2nd /3rd shift and it all goes to crap.

the cars not without its problems ,i'm still waiting to get a bottomend recoed.its burnin more oil than a 2stroke and it keeps pinging every now and then ,i suspect this is because of the worn oil rings.but hopefuly this should be sorted soon ,(before the weather warms up i hope )i'l keep evreyone posted on how it goes.
