Heard that this is going to be the next "Castle" in Australian cinema.
Two local (Ascot Vale) guys have made this movie.. One stars & the other directs, with their only previous experience being with the BoyScouts Gangshow. Has anyone seen it yet? http://www.greaterunion.com.au/movie...asp?movie=6028

Not yet, have you? Sounds promising. Better go have a look. The Castle would take a lot of beating though. Even The Dish, done by Sitch & Co. while it was good, didn't quite do it for me... But hey, If its an Oz production, I'll support it!

Saw it last night. Kenny is a major bogan lol.
Its a mockumentary made by the people that did "best in show" and "this is spinal tap". Worth seeing. The laughs get a bit slow towards the end but you still get a bit of a chuckle. Most of it seems like it isn't actually acted but there is a couple of scenes when you know it has been setup like that. |

Oh and if you are expecting castle quality then you might be dissapointed. It can't really be compared because it is a documentary format but I would say don't expect it to be quite as good as the castle.

An interesting fact... The world premiere of Kenny was at Poowong in Victoria. Poowong is a small country town, but was chosen because of the rather unfortunate name. With Kenny being about a plumber, they decided that Poowong was ideal. True story!

Kicks The Castles a**
Greatest laugh I have had. ABsolutely off the dial comedy. A true sensation "The problem we have here is 1 inch plumbing and a bloke with a 2 inch a**hole" Pure gold :-)

Saw it last night, top movie and worth seeing. Kenny the main character is funny, honest and charming. Saw it with my 14yo nephew and he loved it too. Some of the lines in the movie were absolute crackers.
