Default Towing- Rear end too low.

I have an AU Fairmont 1999 with a 1600kg tow pack. The car tows my boat with no problems other than the rear end sits a liitle too low and my boat trailer scraps the curve when entering/exiting my driveway. I not sure if I should get some monroe gas risers(inflatable shocks), or what. Can someone give some advice please?

the weight balance of the trailer isnt right...

its up to you but go either a levelride setup if you dont want to modify the car, or yeah, you could go for some pump up shocks...

dad used to have a good setup on the old XB for towing the horses

As MADNC 8 mentioned , it sounds more like a weight balance problem / alot of people actually get this towing boats.

Before going lashing out and buying some gas riders , check to see if your boat trailer has an adjustable arm at the front of the trailer ( closest to the towball end ) / this arm im on about is the arm/leg that has the small rubber wheel on it which the front of the hull rests against and on . On alot of trailers u can adjust the arm in out out / thus making the boats fastening position more towards the backwards or towards the front of the trailer , shifting/balancing the weight of the boat move evenly across the axle of the trailer / thus lifting the rear of the car.

Move the boat backwards a bit if possible to raise the rear of your car / this is all providing your trailer has an adjustable arm and is long enough to allow it to hang over a bit futher at the rear safelly . cheers , gl
