lol I have one of those kodak batteries for my old 4mp point and shoot, and they're not a fantastic battery. Was great when it was new, but after a while they just don't hold the charge. To revive it I used to run it dead flat as far as it will go, then I fully charged it overnight, ran it flat again, recharge, run flat, etc for about 10 cycles, and it usually came good. Either that or buy a new ni-mh battery...

The batteries for my 350D last ages. At the sydney AFD, I took two spares and the one that was already in the camera, it took another 812 shots, and is still in my camera now, having taken an unknown number (although easily over 1000). Feels like I wasted my money buying 2 extra batteries.

My immobiliser has a 5c piece in it actually :P The spring that holds the battery was buggered, and a 5c piece was the perfect size & thickness to get it working again ;)
