Default Where to get Autometer guages repaired

I put in an electronic fuel pressure guage a few weeks ago to keep an eye on my fuel pressure. After a few hours I got it fitted up and it didnt work! I bought these gauges over a year ago and they only sat in my room since. The guage was quite expensive so I want to get it fixed. We compared this guage to a mechanical one to make sure it was broken. It was reading 70 when it should be on about 30 and would go off the dial when on boost.

Does anyone know anywhere in Melbourne that can repair autometer guages?

Thanks,
Dan

But I wanted to put the guage inside the car. It was a $300 guage so any tips on where to get it fixed would be good.

There's a Speedometer repair shop on Maroondah Hwy just on the other side of the end of Heatherdale Road, on the left coming down in to Ringwood. There's a little service road there.

Hope that helps, it's an ancient little shop but I think they're quite dear.

Mate good luck I had problems with my auto meter gauges too sent them back (Rocket)and they returned them to me with a note saying once the seal is broken on any auto meter gear its over its yours .My needle in mine had fallen of and it hadn't even been fitted and was about 1 day old when sent back the next one the face turned inside the gauge when doing up the mech hose on the back and scatched the inside of the plastic glass once again to bad .In my experience 3 autometer ultralites have been throwen out and one of their mech guage hoses throwen out due to theard being bent and wouldn't screw on .Very expensive lesson that they may look good but they can be rather plasticey in quality .

Me too! I still have a boost guage, fuel level guage and sender, electronic nitrous pressure guage which is also full sweep and pretty expensive that I would like to use.

I bought them off a guy on calais turbo forums. Sir5.7 I think his nick was. He imports all the autometer gear at good prices. It seems like a calibration error, maybe it can be reset or something.

If I had of kept my receipts I would be in a better position to send them back but I cant find them.

Ill give Ringwood speedos a ring. I know where they are.
