It all depends on the conditions.
Highway expect about 8-9L/100klms (800klms a tank roughly) Around town expect 13-15L/100klms (400-500klms a tank roughly) I'm not too good on estimating petrol figures as I have LPG.

Petrol - 800 Country, 600 Town.
I tend to run a tank of petrol through, with injector cleaner chucked in, on country trips just to clean the system up a bit. This means I am a bit vague on what distance I get on gas in the bush. On gas I get about 300 commuting in peak traffic. The gas guage red light comes on about 250 to 270 and I try to ignore it until I get to around 300 or the price of LPG seems OK or I get too worried about running out.

In the wagon generally between 400 - 500 km a tank.
