Default Pursuit front on sedan

Hey All,

Does anyone have any pics of an AU pursuit frontbar on a an AU II XR6?

I am thinking of buying a pursuit front lip and XR50 side skirts and rearbar from AWC, I think it would look mean as.

what you think?

I've got this combo as well. Check out my aufalcon.com gallery (links below) to see how it all ties together.

The XR50 is only a front bar. You just need the TS50 Style Skirts and rear bar.

If you get this style of front bar, unless you buy genuine, the lip is only an addition to your front bar. It requires some cutting of the front bar to make it fit. When i had mine, the spray painters never fitted the lip correctly, so it never sat in the right positions. Very dodgy

No sorry I don't. I gave it to JC. But beleive me, you wouldn't want it. The guy who installed it cracked it and chipped it. I never worried too much about it, as the XR50 was in development, so i just waited till then, and gave JC the lip.

Gee Bucky your car looks way different back then. Excuse the pun but it looks naked without its stripes.

Yep - just the front bars. The Series 2/3 front bar and the XR50 front bar are totally interchangeable with a series 1 XR front bar.

Hey Buckie,

What needs to be cut for the lip to fit? and what did you get charged? was it a heap?

if its is going to cost me over 500 to get the front bar made up I may as well get an XR50 frontbar.

and the other thing, talking about stripes what color stripes would you put on a red car? would white standout to much?

Depends what you like i suppose. I reckon the pursuit front is nicer than the XR50 bar. The XR50 bar is too busy imo.. It seems to suit the darker cars better.

Definitely under $500 for the pursuit lip add on.

Stripes on a red car? Red!

OK, seriously, If you go the bucky style of stripe (subtle), then perhaps a dark orange? Otherwise good old black - white would be too much, IMO.

I have some photo's. Send me your email address by PMand I'll have a hunt around for those photo's.

Cost I think of the lip was around $125. I had the whole kit painted and fitted and it cost me $800. I don't imagine painting of the lip would cost you any more than $200 and it's a nice subtle addition to the front bar. XR50 par is $550, and you have lights to buy and gotta get it painted and fitted. With the Lip, you can doi it with the bar on the car. No need to remove it.

On a red car, stripes, not really sure. White would look cool and I would love to see it. Maybe Black (Bombers) Now black would be excellent. Might have a think about this one.

another question? how the hell do you get the missus to let you do this stuff!!!!
mine cracks the shits even when I think about doing anything to my car...
I'm sure there are others with the same problem as I have, some woman just dont understand do they.
Thanks. The stripes were Jimt3te50's idea and Firefox7 also has them on his AU. My Mrs never has a problem with stuff I do to the car. She's happy to let me do what I want. Except sell the car. :hihi:
