A guy at work who bought a FPV recently mentioned that fpv were cutting back selling fpv exclusive items, like boss stickers and stripes. to keep fpv's exclusive i assume..i suppose it could apply to badges too.

From memory any part that starts with part number BAT is exclusive to FPV. You can buy the FPV gear stick boot for the GT through ford without a VIN, but try and get the silver plastic surround it clips into, not a chance.

i asked for a FPV badge from Ford Spare parts about 18 months ago and they handed one over. they knew i didnt own a FPV and they didnt ask if i did either.

I think it depends on the dealer. Some ask for FPV VIN and some don't.
