I'm collecting bits for my car audio upgrade (so far I've got the headunit, two amps, subby and front splits) and have been reading up on how all this new-fangled stuff goes together.
I came across this:- http://www.webaudiodirect.com.au/vie...product=711053 but I'm not sure what it does? Anyone want to help a dynosaur...? |

I got one for mine last week from supercheap auto at $15, basically you plug one end into the factory loom from the car and it allows you to wire it up to your new cd player and not cut into the factory wires and can always be unplugged, one other handy point is you can wire it all up outside of the car and then basically just plug it all in and no mucking about and being cramped in the car with a soldering iron.

Thanks for that.... so has the added benefit of a much easier reconnection of factory headunit at a later date? Thanks for the Supercheap tip as well... |
