What a game!! Australia got 346, NZ's reply was 350 with 4 balls to spare.
I didn't think they could top the last game but, well, they sure did.

Aussie didn't play bad, I just think NZ played a lot,lot better.
When you lose with 346 on the board, I think you have to stand back and just admire.

This time proving that even with "equal" teams we can do just the same - clean them up.
No Bond, Vetorri or Oram but still a 1st 11 worthy of the black jumper.

Well done New Zealand....."enjoy it while it lasts?" Roger that!!

Can I just say that only the World Cup matters, and Australia are the current champs.
Can the Black Caps deliver the goods during the World cup? Or will they choke in the World Cup like their All Black Rugby counter-parts?

Didn't NZ break off from Australia and that's how they got Fords and Cricket?

And Australia broke off from Africa IIRC. And cricket came with the Poms, the same poms that sent convicts to Aus.

What will you guys be saying if (when :evil3: ) Aus continue this streak and get smashed in the WC?

Dont you think that being on an AUSTRALIAN ford forum and then eluding to calling them (Australians) racists, convists and inbreds is in bad taste. I dont mind getting involved in a bit of trans tasman banter, but I dont think that I would ever bunch all kiwi's together and place an insult like that out there.

OK, perhaps it was a little harsh, my apologies. I don't mind where I say it, in person or on a forum to whom and who, ask anyone who knows me and they'll vouch for this tenfold, but, that was harsh and out of line, my bad.

I guess when you're one of so many Kiwis on board we get a lot more grief....was time I broke out and voiced a little back....didn't mean to hit the heart though.

No doubt you guys will be doing the same when you finally beat us one day :P

Australia put on a stunning performance no doubt (346 FFS) but the fact that NZ chased it down was jaw dropping.

The expressions on the faces of the people at the stadium said it all.

They are always on my mind here......hard to escape the elusive sheep joke. ;)

I think Hussey had a lot to do with it, I know it's a team loss but he makes the calls for bowling mid-game and fielding placements. Take a look at the last game, he needed the field up some 2 overs earlier, this time he was better but still needed pressure on the Batsman. Though, to be fair and without sounding cocky, it was hard to captain against a performance like that.

I'm a Cricket fan Summer and a Rugby fan in winter. To be fair both games were awesome and even better through a NZ fans eyes, two huge scores and better run chases, awesome to watch for all. The Aussies wanted a Challenge......you couldn't get a harder challenge than this series.
