Default Turbo or 20's?

Im starting to save up some money for my next mod. A full turbo set up or some deep dish 20inch rims. But im not sure what I should choose....

What do you suggest?

turbo. any fool can buy 20's. a custom turbo setup makes it yours. it also makes your testicles double in size.

If the 20's cost less than the turbo, then the way I see it is that more fools will be able to afford the wheels than the turbo! LOL!

20's are common as now, u see them everywhere. Go a turbo AU and make it yours. How can u turn down more power. But be warned it will cost a lot more than 20's

exactly. a turbo set up will cost way more than your 20's. but as people were saying turbo makes your car more unique.

Money isnt really a problem for me as i can save alot of my weekly pay. so i wasnt goin get cheap 20's from tempe tyres like that. with the turbo set up i was going to order one of the kits from snort performance or ring up avoturbo world and see wat they can do for me. id run a reasonable size turbo with a large wastgate on low boost so i still can use the standard computer for a while before i get a ford flash tuner done to it...
but if i choose one i wont do the other...

20's are headaches lol, 2 of my mates are spewing they bought em, continousl unknown marks appearing on the them gutter rash etc, 225 wide tyres look absolutely pathetic as well. But its your choice hey and certain rims are very heavy. They look good but cost you plenty. 500-600 a tyre in 235-245wide no thanks for me. Dont get sucked in like my friends did just cos 20's are in they will be old soon they are old to me already whats next?? 22's nope they dont fit so 20's are it for Australian cars.

If money isn't an issue like you say get both, or get a set of 19's which you can get for less $2000 and do some serious internal work

If you got the cash definately turbo!

Get some bigger injectors, malpassi rising rate fuel pressure regulator, decomp head gasket, and tune it on 6psi. Still looking at about 5-6k. Most of the cash spent would be on a proper exhaust manifold, turbo set up (ie: tapping oil and water feeds, braided hoses intercooler etc) and dump pipe. Those items alone would be close to 3.5k. If tuned properly, estimates of 250-280hp @tw.

OR

Spend around the $12K mark and do everthing right. Beefier H beam rods, forged pistons, prepped block and head, bigger fuel pump and bigger injectors, aftermarket ecu, 18psi and 400hp @tw :evilsasmo

Then if theres much change left over from that do the driveline. It all depends on how greedy your right foot is..... :Up_to_som

20" wheels = useless modification that looks horrible in MANY people's eyes and makes the car corner worse, stop worse and accelerate worse. No AU was designed to have 20" diameter wheels.

Turbo = 100% performance gain. Power you never had before. ALOT of fun. Immesureably more fun and functional then wheels that belong on a B-Double.

I say, if you can afford it, Turbo, no questions asked. Then when you do that... forget wheel diameter and start looking at wheel width... up the back : :eclipsee_

Buy a BA Turbo. They look better and go better than any AU Turbo ever will. Plus, insurance headaches will be less than with a factory turbo. And at least you know your getting something that will work. Less K's too
