Default Two bricks apart!

I love stories like this.

http://www.smh.com.au/news/unusual-t...722523988.html

At my school it was 1 metre. The deputy used to walk around with a metre rule, lol.

I went from 3-10 without any uniform or stupid rules such as the one in the article. Then I went to another private school for 11/12 but the complete opposite. The school with all the extra meaningless rules and uniforms had far worse dicipline issues.

And yet contact sports are fine??

One teacher in particular tried to enforce this crap on me a few years ago when I was in yr12, I repeatedly told him to **** off... Eventually he got the message that I wasn't going to conform to a stupid rule...

None of the other teachers really cared... :P

Political correctness is way out of hand...

Oh dear lordy, here's comes the anti political correctness brigade!!!!

It's a school FFS. When have coeds at a private school ever been allowed to interact physically???

This rule has probably been on the books longer than the concept of "PC" has been around. Ask your parents what would have happened to them in school if they were caught holding hands etc.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me what this has to do with PC??? Or do you guys just love throwing that phrase around?!?!?!?

That pic actually reminds me of my first "serious" gf in highschool. Except back in the day I would have been bashing my head with one of those bricks :

From 3-10 I was at a private school as well and there was all kinds of physical contact, you could get told to get a room I suppose but that was about it.

They're pretty big on sport though aren't they? So it's alright to smash someone in a tackle but not show affection for someone :

Seriously what the hell is wrong with it? The reason why I went to a public school was because I like GIRLS :P

Mixed touch was always a popular sport. I had a head teacher who used to like to touch everyone, his nick name was - the feeler.

Years ago when I was casual teaching I ended up working at my sister's school when she was in year 12.

On the first day the deputy was showing me around and he came across a couple of year 12s (a boy and a girl) in the playground with their jaws locked together.

He called out [girls name]!, stop that this instant!. He then turned to me and said "It's OK, I can tell her what to do, that's my daughter". I replied, "I know, I have met her, she has been to my house.". (She was a friend of my sister).

What I didn't tell him is that I came home one night to find her and her boyfriend making out on MY BED!, (My sister was having a party) anyway THAT girl is a teacher now.

This happened in the middle of Sydney too, not in some country town.

dont know why they are so concerned really.
the shop is only going to sell R rated vids, no XXX.
dont see them protesting out the front of Henna st Video or Jacks Games.
infact i dont see anyone complaining about Pleasure Zone...right behind Henna st video and near a Supermarket...heaps of kids in this area. but thats ok....just dont open a sex shop OUT of town.....that could lead young minds astray. :

the sex shop WILL go ahead anyway, council isnt going to deny the application as they would then be taken to VCAT and lose. they themselves have even said its a watse of money going there as VCAT will give the sex shop the go ahead.

I was talkin to a guy in Horsham last year and he said that W/bool was too conservative to allow an adult shop to open. But yeah, it is a bit ridiculous given that it would be so much easier to purchase online.

That's right the shop will go ahead and it is all decked out on the inside all ready .
There is a heap of stock as well.
Pleasure Zone has been closed for Nealy 3 years as the guy got sick and had to close it then he died about 12 months later .
Dion is in the old "Pleasure Zone" Shed and he still gets people there asking for the shop , where did it go or move to .. So the market is there.. and its a big market in Warrnambool .
the old Pleasure Zone "owners son" has said that it turns over .. over 2 grand a week .. that in a town like this is good money ..
The shop will do a good trade ... Should be up and running by Easter time.. all going well

It was always the "Daylight rule" at our school. There always had to be daylight between two people.

I was never sought after enough to test the rule. :(

I propose we extend this rule to the whole of Warrnambool to prevent further (in)breeding.

Ka chow!

My old mate went to a private school, with no touchy stuff. Soo, when they went on a camp trip and one particular teacher was insisiting on the rule between him and his girlfriend they did the dirty in his tent :

To be honest, I think the rules a complete and utter waste of time. They *tried* to do it at our school (Lilydale High... haha, its a hole, and also PUBLIC) to me and my girlfriend a couple times.. Didnt stop us doing things though.. Infact it inspired doing some "grown up" things in certain areas of the school.

Ahhh, school days.. Now you feel dirty for looking at the ladies in uniforms :togo:

Reminds me of a story dad told me about his school days when it was the other way around.. Went on a NT camp trip and his teacher took his wife along (who also taught) one night dad and his mates wouldn't leave them alone when they were in their tent trying to 'sleep'. In the end the teacher bribed them a deck of cigs to bugger off.. Funny thing was, the same teacher taught me in high school!

LOL

It's funny now that mum's anxious for me to "find someone", but she still doesn't want me "doing anything" with anyone.
Dad is more relaxed, and he's not naive about it, especially since he was once engaged to 5 women at once, including 2 sisters that lived in the same house, and had no idea that they were seeing the same guy...
He picked the wrong one to marry though.

I think mum's problem is more that all her friends' daughters are getting married/moving in with their boyfriends/having kids and such, and when they ask about me, she has nothing to brag about.
I can't stand her though, so it doesn't bother me.
