Default Good Place in Melb to buy a Fridge

I will be in Melbourne later this year (in the Dandenong Ranges - Upwey) and am looking to buy my parents a new fridge.

Can anyone recommend any stores that will give me a deal for 'cash' and have a good selection, service and deliver?

I don't mind travelling further afield, but don't want to go right into the city. Dandenong, Ringwood, etc is fine if that helps at all... _2:

There is a place across from my work, Ausmart, they have really cheap TV's Fridges etc, though not big name brands, but it's all the same just with different casing etc. Otherwise i'd recommend Retrovision, Harvey Normans, DEC (Discount Electrical centre). I'm around the ringwood area, PM me if you want more details. Most places will give you a good deal for cash, and may throw in free delivery.

Cheers, Damo.

The Good guys stores. They do great deals for cash. On our fridge alone we got over $200 of. Then the TV, microwave and a few other items all had discounts as well. Certainly worth it.

The Discount Electrical Centre (there's a few of them) or Panasales in Brighton.

I decked out my house with a new fridge, washing machine, 68cm stereo TV, surround sound system, and a TV cabinet for under $2000- at DEC and they delivered it all for me too. Their stock is just all rebadged and they have a few items on special each week so you have to get in quick to get the really cheap stuff. :

Thanks everyone for your imput. you have given me many options to follow up on. I am more goverened by space size than cost, as the fridge has to fit into a cavity in the wall that is bricked in.

Poor ol' dad bought a new fridge for them earlier this year but didn't take any measurements. Needless to say it was way to big so is now used as a spare downstairs when we all go home for visits.
