You have got to be careful with these sites though, i have a mate who maxed his credit card out paying online poker. Its good fun though, as long as your not a gambling addict, as it can get out of hand.

I play on party poker occassionally but gets rather annoying having to endure the 'roll the dice' all in with 6 9 offsuit on the first hand deal.
I prefer to play face to face and there's plenty of places that offer either free rolls (including one with no buy in and $4500 prize money at Canley Vale RSL next week apparently) or $10/$20 buy ins. Played last night and was on a table with an old clucker who had never played before and ended up handing me my **** because she always sat on an ace and hit it on the river, or hit a back door straight when I had trips to knock me out. Pocket 4's, flopped 4 7 9, she had A 8, went all in, she called. J turned and 10 rivered. It was only a $10 buy-in so I wasn't that ****ed and it's also why I wouldn't play high stakes. If you want to see some insane poker playing, torrent high stakes poker. |

Yahoo! Games Hold'Em Poker all the way.
No cash down, lots of idiots who can't play and nothing lost. |
