Default Sponsor Banner

A few of the issues that have been raised with the sponsor banner have hopefully now been addressed:

A full listing of sponsors can now be obtained by clicking 'OUR SPONSORS' to the top left of the banner.

IE users should no longer see the 'Click to activate and use this control' message, it should work when clicked first time now.

Firefox users should no longer receive a pop up block notification, the links should open in a new window as originally conceived.

Most of these changes have been done with javascript, so if you have it disabled, (most will not, it's how the dynamic menus on this site operate) these changes will not work for you sorry.

If you encounter issues, please first clear your browser cache and refresh the page before trying once more. If you still have issues at that point, please let us know here.

Cheers.

It's better and far quicker, however there is one thing I find lacking. The ability to advance to the sponsor you are specifically looking for. At the moment it's random, and you need to wait 'till the banner comes around.

In addition I might also mention that Flash9b.ocx regularly crashes in IE7. Needing a restart of the browser. Nothing major, but inconvenient at times.

A lot of people are having a lot of issues Flash9b.ocx around the net in general. I'd suggest Adobe are feverishly trying to fix it, but there's not a lot I can do from this end sadly.

As to finding the sponsor you want immediately, that is why the sponsor page has been added from the our sponsors link.

The "our sponsors" button is excellent. Thanks for making it open in a new browser too!

Keep up the good work, this site is great.

It was far from a one man show mate. I seem to recall that somebody else came up with the concept and layout, I just nailed the bits together.

Sweet, a very slick improvement on the "Our Sponsors" Button. Excellent work.

Not at all, any sponsor that feels that they can provide a service to the members is more than welcome
