The 911 was definatly the best car there but I would take the Aston - loved the looks and the sound it made when he planted it was pretty unreal. Of course I wouldnt say no to a 911 either...M6 was a bit dissapointing I thought... That British supercar was pretty cool with the 5L V8 - awesome stance from front on.

Yer. that British supercar pulled an awsome time for the conditions of the track (being wettish). I think i would take the beamer as a tourer/family or work car but the porsche for a weekend fun car. The aston has some good points like its note and i so like some of its body styling but it just didn't perform like the porsche.

Cant go past a porsche
Hey anyone seen the show on How To channel called Speed? Jeremy hosts and i think produces/writes it. Judging by the amount of hair he has in it, i think its a few years old. Very cool, was a great eposide last night of jeremy flogging a 4wd jag down an alipine ski slope. Crazy.

Digital in my area needed a new antenna. SBS and ABC worked fine (funnily enough) but 7,9 and ten didn't show up.

I would take the V8 Vantage any day, even if it is slower. I saw a silver one 2 weeks ago and it was the most beautiful car i've ever seen. Sounds pure horn too. Hopefully Aston make a go fast version.

Saw a DB9 a couple of weeks ago in silver, absolute pure horn car. For those who are top gear freaks just remember that youtube is your friend.

I've never actually seen an Aston in the flesh before, so I spose a good thing about it is fairly unique.

I've seen a few AM's about in Melb, i hope they show up the Melb Motor Show this year. That'd be great if Top Gear tested some FPV's, bang for bucks compared to the Euro big 4 doors.

Porsche for me....
Cheaper, faster, and holds it value better than either of the other two. M6 - Not over an M5 Aston Martin - Rather have a Porsche. Face it...in Aus if you were driving either of the three your going to be called a ****er. |
