i removed the unichip today ,it wasn't as difficult as i would've thought.i just had to cut and join 3 wires back together and cut 3 where they had been spliced into (see how long my dodgy soldering last)and cut 3 where they joined onto.the reason i pulled it out is that i'm getting a j3 from chiptorque fitted next week and they wanted $100 to pull it out .i'm a bit of a tight ****.
i must say the car feels very sluggish to drive without the unichip.it still revs out alright but yeah,it dosen't feel as good . i'm excited about getting the j3 fitted it will be good to set the cam back to where it should be .i'm going to get the rpm limit raised to 6000rpm as well (i hope it holds together). the unichip is foresale if anyones interested. catch yas ,jake

well done, it will be the best thing you've ever done for the car. I hate Unichips.

the unichip served its purpose ,not a bad thing at all i cracked a 14.59 with it and a cam and usual mods .you only have to look at loxr6's qter time ,they work .but they can only tune what the ecu can handle.
i chose the j3 over the edit because its going to be a fair bit cheaper and offers all the things the edit will do for me with my car set up the way it is . one thing i didn't get to find out about the edit was,can the edit tune what rpm the bbm opens up at?i haven't asked chiptorque either but i will when i'm down there.
