G'day all,
I think this subject has been touched on before but I cant find the link to it. I am getting paccies 4480's installed this tuesday into my au1 forte and have chosen ceramic coated headers to keep the heat down in the engine bay. I am worried however about the heat where the headers enter the cat as it is very close to the "steering knuckle( if thats what its called ). At present, there is a heat shield installed, but the installer said this cant be used with the headers. If this is the case could I have problems with the steering, and have anyother members had this problems in the past and corrected it? Thanks |
