I'm gonna be updating my brakes soon. I deff wanna get DBA slotted rotors! Just wondering as to what pads would be the best for a decent price?

Well, I went with Bendix ultimates ($96 a pair), even though people here told me not too. They are chewing out my rotors, fast, they are dusty, they are hard, they dont work until they are hot, and then the rotors start to fade. Id go with Bendix advanced, or what Im doing is going right back to General CT.

Bendix Advance would be my tip - good all rounders.

I think on a race car, Ultimates would be good, but on the road, not practical at all.

Im using Ferodo Formula's on mine, they have plenty of bite and are pretty progressive. They are reasonably dusty though and are not completely quiet (running them with 4000 series slotted DBA's). I personally prefer them over the Bendix Advanced, but at the price the ferodo'ss i find are a little pointless ($130).
I cant say im overly impressed with the Bendix range, but ive found the Advanced to be a reasonable compromise, but as you can gather i havent been impressed with any brake pads of late and ive tried a bloody lot.

b2tf the bendix advance are quiet as a mouse
no squeels at all altho i have had some brake noise (more of a howl) when they were dead cold(1 corner and 1 stop before a HEAVY stop (didnt see red light *woops*) i have DBA 4000 series slotted rotors on the front with the bendix and i have no idea what pads or rotors are on the back but they are slotted and dont dust up much... but then the AUs dont use the rear much as im still on the same set of rears from when i got the car...

Advance are quiet. I've been running them for 4 years, and never get a squeal out of them. Funny thing is, a lot of pads that do squeal, squeal because they are working properly.

You should like the Advance then - good grip, not much dust, no squealing, and they are still capable on track days.

I've got Bendix Ultimate on mine and they are pretty useless for the first couple of brake applications but after that they pull up well, real well. They're dusty as buggery but I haven't had any issus with them chewing out the rotors. The best pads I've ever used though were QFM (Queensland Friction Materials) they can even pull an EL up.

oh yer the Lucas that's right. I recall you were considering the Ferodo's also.
Yep don't like them as well, tried them dust galore and noisy. I have a had a great run from the Bendix Heavy Duty's,not the bite of Advanced but higher temp therefore less chance of fade.
