Default Cold Air Intake

Somewhere on this forum there was some talk of a "Large Cold Air Intake" to assist 6cyl AU 3 Sed. with better fuel milage?
Cannot locate it now.
What model Air intake would I be looking for? (AU V8, BA 6 cyl ???),
Would replacing the Std Intake with the Larger intake help with the fuel consumption? (especially on short driving & or towing.)
Will replace air filter with full flow K&N? (when finances permit), but require your input on the air intake & the cheapest place to purchase.
Thanks

Thanks mate, I wish I had a shed full of the things! I did come across a heap of them for sale a while back for dirt cheap, but I didn't buy any unfortunately!

I do have a few of the XR6T items floating about though...

Try Bayford on ebay or call them. They had one for sale not long ago.
The T series ones are now obselete.
The "new" ones are $47. Same size and shape except no T wings. Here is one I recently fitted to the TE50.
