Default Rare AU3 XR8?

So, with a view to purchasing an AU3 XR8 ("no dear, I'm just looking at the moment," lol) I've been looking at what options were available, prices, etc etc.

Anyhoo, thought I'd share this unique example... bear in mind it's at a DEALER in Cairns...

He knows that, but obviously the moron who put the ad up and described it as an AUIII didn't.

I had a similar theing at a dealer in Ballarat recently. They had advertised a silver AUIII XR8 manual so I thought I'd go fo a looksee. They stated premo sound (it was standard), sports interior (again standard), sports exhaust (yep standard but with a chrome tip). Oh yeah the other problem was it was an AUII not III. Even when I pulled the bloke up on it he denied it and said I was wrong, but guess what next weeks ad in the paper advertised it as an AUII with no options.

Makes you wonder doesnt it....

Slightly OT, but what's everyone's thoughts on what the rarest model would be? Im thinking a 220 manual, leather, sunroof, premium brakes, bodykit in either Monsoon Blue or Meteorite.

Thats not a model, its a series 3 with some factory fitted extras. So you can't consider what you listed to be a rare model

LMAO. That dealer just got an "enquiry" from Donald Duck (dduck@disney.com) asking whether he could tell his BA's from his AU's. What a gem!

No. Having a T5 only makes a car special in the way that people with dissabilites are sometimes reffered to as special

I think the rarer version (not XR8 though) ... seems to be the XR6 ST models.
I have only seen one or 2.
