Default Oil in the Intake

I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't really find much info on where to buy some sort of oil catch can? It's probably not necessary for my car, but I took the air intake apart yesterday, and there is an unnervingly large amount of oil lining the elbow piece just before the manifold. So god knows how much oil there is in the manifold itself! I couldn't undo the allen key bolts to have a look though.
So, I was just wondering if anyone has one setup on their NA AU? I have even been told I can make one myself? I guess all I need is somewhere to collect the oil. Does it really need to be plumbed back into the intake at all?

Evan

you can so it fairly simply, supercheap and them sell actual oil catch cans and yes, from a roadworthy view it does have to be plumbed back into the engine. the easiest way to set it up would be get a catch can, the find somewhere decent to mount it, then run the inlet to the can from the pcv valve and the outlet into the intake manifold...the other forum i am a member of, they line the inlet side of the can with steel wool to help catch the oil as it cools and drains to the bottom as it hits it.

hope that helps
