im getting 20" for my au ive asked a couple of tyre dealers but they cant tell me what i need.
i want that white stripe around the tyre. ive been told they shave some rubber off your tyre then paint the line in. Who does it? & Where can i get it done???????????? |

Geez I hope thats not what they do to get the white stripe.
I'd be looking at some suppliers that provide this already done before resorting to that.

and for an AU falcon with 20s.. you want 245/30R20 tyres
nankang make some that fit perfectly.. as do Falken 452's

correct me if i'm wrong, but i do believe that the rubber tires are made out of is white and they are coloured black...

correct tyres are coloured black with carbon (soot) ... which gives them the black appearance and also slows the effects of the UV rays on degrading the rubber
BUT when they are white walled aftermarket they are grooved(only 1mm if that) then they fill it with the white coloured rubber
