N95 8BG is a good phone, quite chunky though. Does have a lot of features. Another one to look at is the N96 which is not too far away. Looks quite nice. Or the nokia 6210 Navigator which is the new version of the very popular 6110 Navigator.
Hope this helps |

the standard N95 is better as it has a card slot ( no slot in the 8Gb) and there will be 32GB cards available by the end of the year

Blackers and i both have N95 8GB have had them since they came out...
they are AWESOME phone... aparently the N95 batterys dont last long(well the early ones didnt..only a day or something(i think u can firm ware upgrade it or somthing and it fixes it....i know mine lasts 4-5 days if you arent really using it...i listen to music(on the train) 40mins to and from work..i charge my phone prob every 3 days....which is pretty good i recon... doesnt really matter what nokia you pick...as in my oppinion they are all fairly good... prob depends what you want it to do... if you want EVERYTHING you get a N95 8GB or if you just want a basic phone you pick a more basic model...no point paying for an $$ phone if you arent going to use it

we'll ive got a sony erricoson K770i and i think its great - ive always had nokia's before this(ive broken, sorry destroyed 2 5140's - the builders phones lol) but i really like my sony - the buttons are easy to use, a gap between the one above and the one below, great clear screen which has never cracked or anything else. and its not chunky as like the others, fairly light. and if its in your pocket it doesnt look like you've got a brick down ya pants
oh and the case is pretty sturdy aswell

I've had Ericssons for the last 8 years or so, and bought my first Nokia about 6 weeks ago. I ended up buying a 6220 classic, which has the same features as the N95, just more compact (90 grams!) due to the smaller screen, and is missing wireless.

Well I had a bit of a stroll today through a few shops.
The Telstra Shop said the N95I is not available to Telstra. The did have the N95 however. The 6210 Nav is also not a Next G handset?? Keep looking tomorrow. I have a spend of about 100 a month, so whatever phone I want is free. The winner for the Nokia is the reliability, hands down! Thanks for your help.

I have recently aquired a N95 8Gb and I am very happy with it. I had a 6110 Navigator previously, a sony k770i and Samsung U700 and the N95 is the best, by far!
Apart from the 8Gb of onboard memory, the 8Gb version also has a better and larger screen, and better speakers with louder ring tones. Also improved MP3 audio quality over the N95 model. |

Does it have to be Telstra? They are hopelessly expensive.
I've got an N95 8GB as well and can't praise it enough. Does everything.

N95 seems to be great. Lots of people I know are heavily (selling up) dissapointed with new iphone. I have N95 (normal) and does everything I want from it.

As pretty much every one has said, N95. I've got the original N95 and can't fault it. Does everything you'd expect a phone to do and more

N95i > Iphone?
Don't want to start a debate but I've got the offer to swap an 8gb N95i for an Iphone? Worth it?

N95i will be superceeded, N96 is coming onto the market in October.
As for Iphones - they're cool as a personal phone. As a work phone their completely useless and fragile. I'm on my second one already - my first lasted a fortnight before the glass face was accidently smashed. |

Another mobile thread which is fun imo.....
Like the thread starter I have sworn by Nokia, never had a prob tbh but thinking I may have had my blinkers on I have tried 3 other brands which were SonyE Samsung and Motorola over the last year. I get the high spec mobiles due to being on $200+ plans and I got say for my use the ones above I did try are carp ! OK I know others will swear they have had a great run with motorola sony etc but I have gone back to what I know best and Nokia's are the GO for me. Oh by the way have had the E51 for a while, don't need sat nav, itune bs etcetc great slim easy sms reliable mobile.

Which provider does 3 use. I am sort of stuck with Telstra because the coverage of others (read Optus) is really poor up here, as is Voda etc. Mike
