I done a bit of a search and found bits and pieces but what is the definite fix for this problem?
The car isn't sounding too good from the outside at idle. Even inside some people are noticing it. Any ideas welcome. |

I've learned to live with it but I've heard of people wrapping them in tape etc to shut them up a bit.

If suspended in mid air by the connecting hoses so it isn't touching any bodywork you shouldn't hear it; if you can its time for a new one.
