I'm with you, the AU was gonna go this year, but already plans have changed.

The AU will become my "2nd Daily driver", and I will drive this the 5km to work on an alternating basis with the swift.

Planned mods will include an edit and possibly a larger cam, some 19's (or 20's), upgrading the stereo and install a car puter (already got a C2Duo lappy ready to go), as well as a backyard CAI upgrade. I'll also be adding a oil pressure gauge and possibly an oil temp gauge.

Other then that my plans will be to start driving the bloody thing! Oh, but firstly I need to "dispose" of the last 15% rubber thats left on my rear tyres :evil3:

Hmmm, set the new 'lane up how I want it,
LPG
tow bar
HID upgrade to the driving lights
front protection of some kind, preferably a Smartbar if I can make one fit.
air suspension of some kind for the rear
bigger exhaust
maybe a boot spoiler to balance the look once the bar goes on the front....if I can find one that doesn't look too naff.
Custom tune if I can talk the minister of finance into letting me go find a tuner and getting it done.

In order,
* New brake rotors and pads
* Exhaust and cat to compliment the x-force extractors she came with
* Some toying with the intake; some stainless piping, a duct from the lower half of airbox to behind headlight/s, ive already adapted a pod into the box, if anyone has some ideas/tips feel free to express!
* A few 'tidy up' things to do, tear in gear stick boot, damaged front right body kit winglet (not sure wat to call it).

I've had a few other idea's but cant think of them right now.

The list for the AU:-
1. Fit 330mm front brakes
2. Fit Koni yellows (Front/ Rear)
3. Rebush front end and fit Whiteline sway bar
4. Replace front/rear springs
5. Fit AU2 Fairmont Ghia full leather interior
6. Fit T3 heads,Crow cam,Trickflow manifold(plus a few more things)
Have all this in the shed (except for the springs),just have to get time to fit it all.
So I have a very busy year ahead and hope I can get all this done
without too many setbacks

Up in airs about whether or not to sell mine this year, or wait a bit longer. Regardless of whether I keep it or not, no more modding. And continue looking at a much older Ford for daily driving.

Its hard to part with an AU without replacing it with another one. So I might alternate the days I drive it with my next Ford.

I'm feeling the same way.

I've been thinking about selling mine for certain reasons, but another part of me wants to part with it for a T series.

Well, I guess my plans are:

New cat (purchased already)
New windscreen
Flash tuner
Then either get a cheap eaton s/c out of the USA or a small turbo kit for a couple of grand.

If the year isnt already over I want to get a different body kit and a respray aswell.

2. Change springs & shocks [Have them in my garage, just not fitted yet ]
3. Altezza taillights (Shutup, i found some really nice ones! Anything is better than S1 crap ) [DONE]
4. Complete the tuning with my current cam [DONE]
5. Throw in Joe's new Stage 2 Auto Cam and tune that (more power, more torque and better idle!) [NOT DONE]
6. Dynamat my boot and hopefully my front doors [DONE]
7. New tires & possibly rims [DONE]
8. A few cosmetic items (chrome door handles, leather gear knob, patching up a scrape etc...) [GEAR KNOB DONE]
9. Fit my tranny cooler [DONE]
10. Some headwork (maybe) [NOT DONE]
