hmm yeah i prefer the black ones too, theres a few real nice BA styles going around, shame most the AU stuff is too ricey. They do look better on the monsoon blue, i wonder how they;d look with a bit of niteshades:thebirds:
wonder if we can open em up and paint the black galaxy blue, like the fronts juzman they look nice, haven't seen those style before, not too sure on the chrome rings though |

The LED ones on ebay look alright, but still a bit too much rice for me! I like the second style posted here but wish they were available without the chrome rings and with LED.

Iv tried a set of all 3 and found the ones listed in xr-cheifs post to be the best quality (leak/moisture wise) I found the last set in frd906 posts to start abosrbing moisture after about 6 months I returned them twice but always had the same problem. Then again it was a few years back so they may have picked up quality wise now. I wish they would just do a different head light design the aftermarket ones are terrible.

Series 3 are the same as series 2 and series 1 Fairmont lights aren't they?
tried the tint but want something that passes the ADR and won't get me in trouble with police or insurance. |

You can have them properly tinted, by taking them to a painter and getting them to hit them with clear coat with a dark tinter added. That way you can control the shade and tint qualities and have a nice shiny finnish. If you dont want it too dark, this might be a good option, for those willing to pay of course.
